"This artist's work to me always seems to have a slightly sentimental tone to it, & this piece is no exception. The handling of the shoes (placement and physically) is somewhat whimsical/nostalgic."

we had to go around and write down comments on our classmates' shoe drawing, it was all done anonymously, and then we got everyone's comment on our own piece. so someone wrote this about mine and I think what they said is pretty accurate concerning the artwork I produce as a whole, and especially true about what I have done so far this semester in drawing ii....which is of course all they have seen and none of which you have seen.
